Default Epson head - which one?
so we want to replace the tjet blazer express print head and we are wondering which model we need to purchase.

is this the right one?

Articel-No: F187000

does it matter if we use epson 4800 or 4880 heads? or is there a difference?

Yes there is a difference - the 4880 heads are coated to be ink resisting. Not sure about the head ranking codes either. I believe the later Blazers were based on the 4880.

Yes the Epson part number F187000 is correct for the Epson 4880, the 4800 is part # F160010
The 4880 is a better priced print head!
