At any rate, I have been using Wilcom Deco Studio, but I also have Tajima Pulse Illustrator software with the dongle. Is there a transfer fee or anything I need to pay to Hirsch to start using the Pulse software? We found that the Deco Studio has some limitations. It is great for normal stuff, lettering, etc. We sometimes get some work in that needs to be tweaked more than it allows.

The ICTCS seems that it would be easier to use since it can be used without removing the machine's arms (whereas the Slim Line seems to need the machine arms removed first).

For those of you with a Tajima Neo, do you prefer the Hooptech Slim Line Clamp or the ICTCS?

Thanks for your help!

Ok, I have a screen printing machine now and do some sales here and there. We upgraded our business and bought a Barudan Elite Jr. from someone selling out of their business. I got with the machine hoops, thread, TES 2.0 software, and the optional cap attachment. I am trying to learn as much as possible (probably should have done that first, but it was just too good of a deal to pass on). I've done some shirts so far with a few problems here and there and even did some blankets. I was curious if anyone knew where I could find any tutorials on the Compucon TES software? I can't find anything on that software at all... can't seem to figure out how all the functions work. Also, I can't find much on the Barudan machine itself - how to work on the machine or how to fix the errors that come up... I get some different error codes that refer to the thread/bobbin breaking, but when I check them... they are find... so I just start the machine again and it keeps going for a few seconds...then errors again... any suggestions?

But how do you know the good from the bad? Just cos they are cheap doesn't mean they are bad and just because someone charges premium rates doesn't mean they are good

I'm looking to try find a new supplier for my digitizing.... I've even got a job right now that needs digitized so thought I'd come on here and try find someone new or at least get some advice

I know people say best to do it yourself but at the moment I just don't have the time to learn.... or even the money to try and learn :p

So who do you all use and why?

Cheers people

What is to thin of a garment to embroider on? I have a high school that would like to have some staff shirts embroidered with a left chest crest that has a 9,200 stitch count. The design is basically the school name arched with high school underneath that. The shirts are 3.5oz dri-mesh polyester polos.

My question is, is this possible on this thin of a shirt? For any embroiderers out there, Do you work with shirts this thin? Would you turn down this job? If so, what is the thinnest polo you'd be comfortable embroiderering. Most the dri-mesh polyester sport shirts are quite thin. Any comments and advise are apreciated.:)

P.s I have orders from the staff coming in as we speak so if this is not possible I need to move fast and find another garment to offer them, but if any way to avoid that, of course I'd like to.
