I think it culd work. Aslong as you aim for the right customers. I live in Sweden and all of my friends including me (guys around 20-35) shop all their cloaths online. Itīs just about aiming at the correct age group. I mean the people that grew up whit computers and are used to the internet, just think itīs easyer to go online and click around. Than to take the train to the mall to buy a shirt. But the people that only use the computer to send e-mails are often to afraid to use the internet for money transactions. So design stuff for the people who would buy them. And then promote it at the places that you find those people and i think you whould be alright.

Sweden is a sparsely populated country with towns quite far apart. They created a good mail order system and so online shopping became the next natural thing. It will take the rest of Europe a few more years to catch up Hopefully.

We have found that from selling from the UK to europe its more complicated for us because many people wish to use Bank transfers rather than credit/debit cards

I think cre8ive_mind is right about Sweden. Try also other Nordic countries, buying online is quite popular in those regions.
