Default help from wilcom user

I have a design which I've punched on wilcom. When I save it as a pes file and then open the pes file it does not recognise the trims and the whole design shows jumps.

Even on the machine I stitched the sample out with jumps. Its not trimming.

Please help!!

Most embroidery machines interpret three consecutive jump stitches as a trim so the default in wilcom is to output a trim as three consecutive jumps.

Instead of doing a "Save As" try doing an "Embroidery Disk" and when you select the file type, click "Options" and change the trim from he default of "three trims" to "Machine Code"

I'm not sitting in front of wilcom right now so my terminology might be a little off.

some embroidery machines also allow you to change a setting so that they will trim any time they see three consecutive jumps so you might be able to make the change at the machine.

To try what? I can look at the file but I have Tajima machines so saving a PES file would be all I could do, I can't test sew a PES. What machine do you use?

you dont need to sew it. Just save the pes file for me. Before you send it back try open the pes file to see that there are no jumps. is that ok?
