Default Embroidering with heat

Hello All,

Is it possible to do embroidering with heat press only.I have a school that wants to have beanie
caps embroidered.Any advice would be appreciated.

Hmm you could outsource the embroidery, have them done as patches then heat press them on... Embroidery requires the machine to do it yourself...
Other than that I don't think you will have much luck...

Embroidery is the process of SEWING a design onto a fabric. It requires expensive/sophisticated equipment, especially for caps. Some home combination sewing/embroidery machines might be able to do it if the beanies lay flat, but I wouldn't count on it. Commercial machines are much faster, turn out better results, and can either do the designs on the beanies or make patches for you that can be heat pressed on. Embroidery is considered high end decorating and is not cheap. Depending on the number involved, it does get cheaper with quantity. Depending on what you want on the beanies, you might want to consider vinyl as an option. It is much cheaper, can be heat pressed on, but you are limited to the number of colors.
