Default Looking for a favor, and some direction :)

Hello,

I was googling around trying to find some info on Designer plus embroidery software and your site/forum came up. My mother owns a 440qee and I am trying to embroid a hat for myself but she only has the editor lite, so I can't use my own true type font. Is there any possibility I could have someone just make an .art for for me with the font I am attempting to use? it would be very appreciated. If you can help me out just send me a PM I have linked the Adobe illustrator file for what I am trying to get into ".art" format.

Also looking for some direction on a program that I could use to do this without spending the 1700-2200 on designer plus software from Bernina.

Thanks for your time,

Larry Rodrigue

1. Have you embroidered a cap on a Bernina before? Not the easiest thing in the world to do. If you don't drink now you will after struggling with doing a cap.
2. I think you will find that font you are using to be not so embroidery friendly.
3. You can have it professionally digitized and sent to you as a dst file. Bernina software will open a dst file.

thanks for the reply, I am guessing this will be a pain. I just wanted to attempt it atleast once, I do have a 14day return policy on the hat hoop so if I can try it, then return it if it turns out like I am guessing it will.... I just want to try once

I was hoping on finding someone on here, to just basically make that text into and .art/dst whatever file the bernina can read and attempt it.

Thanks again for replying

If you Private message me your email I have the file in a .dst format for you . be glade to send it. I would suggest a sewout on a flat hoop first.
