Default Trouble with Performance wicking shirts

I am experiencing some difficulty in my embroidering of Performance Moisture Management Polo Shirts. Mainly, with any Poly/Spandex blend.

While embroidering, the garment tends to bunch up as the sewing, which creates it to not line up.

How do I fix it from bunching up and keep producing quality embroidery?

Thanks, feel free to PM me with more in depth information as well.

I always use an heat fusible poly mesh on the underside and then hoop. Also, in digitizing, make sure you don't have fills that sew toward the center half way then go to the other side and fill back in towards the center. Also make sure you use adequate underlay.

Fusible most of the time help with this problem, try using toppings or a piece of tearaway as a toppings to sandwich the shirt in between and laydown enough underlay on your design to support the fabric prior to laying down the top stitch. Hope this help, goodluck.

If you haven't tried a heavy cut-away backing, you may need that. Make sure the fabric is not stretched in the hoop too.

The fusible also keeps you from stretching the fabric when you hoop. When you hoop with the fusible on the back, it is like you are hooping the fusible and the fabric just rides along with it.
