Bobbin showing on jagged edges
I have a logo design that has jagged edges. The design is in 3 different sizes. On the very tips of the edges bobbin is showing. I have adjust my bobbin, stiches and tensions.. what else could it be. It does not show any where else except for the points and some times on the edges..

Re: Bobbin showing on jagged edges 99.9% of the time it is your bobbin tension.
1. Make sure underneath the spring is clean. I use a small piece of cutaway stabilizer and slide up underneath it to make sure lint/gummy residue is not underneath it.
2. Tighten your tension so that when you have a full bobbin in it, you can hold the bobbin thread when it is in the bobbin case and it should only lower when you jiggle it, and then it should barely lower.

Re: Bobbin showing on jagged edges I tried all avenues.. what I ended up doing was switching the thread to a needle that was working. I haven't had any more problems. I am new at this so I am gonna call SWF in the morning to see if they can come help me out.
Thanks..

Re: Bobbin showing on jagged edges Then it sounds like your upper tension is too much and it is pulling the bobbin thread up.

Re: Bobbin showing on jagged edges Yeah, that what I thought and kept turning it and turning it and it didn't improve.. it would get worse on some parts but not on others.
I just switched the thread and will work on that needle another time.. I just had to get the order done. It bummed me out cause it was my #3 needle..

Re: Bobbin showing on jagged edges Check your thread path, make sure it isn't wrapped around something or missing a guide.
