Default Backing for iron on patches

Can anyone help me?? I have a great supplier overseas who is designing fabric/embroidered patches for me. They are unsure of how to make them iron-on and I didn't know how to explain the process and what it actually entails! thanks....

Seems to me if your supplier knows how to make patches they should be familiar with the backing that would make them iron-on.
I use a retail product called Wonder-Under for the few patches I make myself.

Thanks for the reply....yes, I would think they would be familiar, however they strictly embroider directly onto garments. The company is extremely accommodating since it was a friends referral. I will suggest a thermoplastic glue - which is probably same as your product suggestion!

I use some stuff that you iron on and peal off paper. That leave the glue that you would iron the patch on with. I will get the name of the stuff for you.
