Digitizing software question
Since phoning several different digitizers and getting samples of there work I was wondering
Most digitizers will send a .pdf of the different colours and what colour is what needle
Is this something that you can print out from the software ie Drawing or Wilcom??
I'm still trying to decide what software to go for if any and this would be a factor in my decision
Cheers

Re: Digitizing software question I don't know how detailed you want, but I would guess all will print out the color selections. Also, some calculate out how much thread and bobbin is used per sew out.

Re: Digitizing software question Yes, Wilcom and Drawings will both print what you need.
Called a run sheet or design sheet.

Re: Digitizing software question Hi John,
I think we have comunicated on another forum. I know only Wilcom. Yes it is possible to print out designs, colours , even thread numbers of manufacturers. For the the needle settings you have to tell the program which machine you have and then which needle has which colour and when you send the design to the machine it will automatically "line up" for you. ( But it is safer to double check).
Hope you make up your mind soon.
Earl.

Re: Digitizing software question Pulse software will also allow you to print out a design sheet which indicates the size of the design, stitch count, number of thread changes, color sequence, center point of the design, trims, thread and bobbin usage.
