Default Tackle Twill on Wicking Mesh Jersey

Does anyone have any experience with putting Tackle Twill on the wicking mesh jersey? I know this has traditionally been put on the thicker polyester jerseys and sweatshirts just fine. We have a baseball team that is wanting the thinner wickign material but also wanting a three color tackle twill name across the front.

My thought is that the material may not be able to hold up with that much stitching.

Thats going to be tough. I try to steer my customers away from Tackle Twill on wicking shirts as it will cut down on the wicking action of the shirt.

Thanks. We have yet to do anything like this and I don't want to be dealing with an unhappy customer. I'd rather turn him down or steer him in another direction.

Personally, I would steer them towards screen printing or Dye sublimation. If you are doing the screen printing then do the outline numbers on the back. That also allows for more breathing of the garment. If they want sold numbers, might as well print on cotton shirts.
