Lightbulb Wilcom E3 Help - Satin Fill Split Size

I am working on Baseball Hats and we used to use Pulse 2003.
In it, I could still the Fill Max length to split with different options.

In Wilcom E3 the only option I have found is the max length.
So the split is down the middle of the letter like a corn row.

In pulse I could tell it random, and it would vary how it split the space "randomly" not center corn row.

How can I do this in E3?

Thanks for the wisdom!
Wayne

there may be an easier way...but, if i'm reading you right, i would just digitize two overlapping, side-by-side satin stitches, and use the jagged edge tool (its next to the cornering tools) so that they're both jagged to the inside.

like this?:

You can get the same effect by controlling tatami fills.

That is the look I am trying to get away from.
See this attached.

I want a satin stitch, but without the visual split running down the middle. Old Pulse had a more random split and it was vary where split was, and the effect was different...
Thanks!

do you have an image? i am pretty sure its a matter of tatami settings (you can replicate a satin effect in tatami if you get the settings right so its a matter of adjusting the tatami settings. That is one of the few things that Pulse has that wilcom doesn't is the preset fill setting types. I have figured out how to recreate some of them in wilcom but I generally don't use that kind of thing much. its just a matter of understanding the tatami tools.

LTP, I don't have an image, we had to give up our key to the old pulse software when we converted to E3. I tried finding an old .pxf file that I did this in, but couldn't find one quickly.

But, based on the K image above, what I would like are the Satin stitches to NOT autosplit down the center. It would kind of be like a Tatami stitch but larger stitches like a satin... (hard to describe i know)

You mean something similar to this?
Adjust Tatami "stitch length" as well as increase min. stitch length to about 1mm or so (this will control the edge stitches so anywhere from .8-1.6 should give you the satin effect), adjust the backstitch to the zigzag style, and crank up the randomness slider at the bottom of Tatami fill panel. To truely maximize the randomness effect use an 8 digit non sequential sequence and adjust the angle of offset. all of these together will give you more control.

Hi allstarsports

You can do this in Wilcom by configurating the Auto Split settings.

Hope that helps!

Dean, that is the setting I can adjust, but the when it decides to split, it splits in the middle.
I have no control over the pattern of split... Only down the middle.

My current setting is 8.50, on the above K.
