Default Stiches coming out..... Whats up....

Hey guys,

PITA client has pestered me forever about some applique work I did for him. I used tackle twill, and stain stitched the edge.

He wrote me saying the stitches are coming out.

NEVER had this , in the numerous jobs Ive done for clients, and myself {I wear like 2o hoodies, shirts, touques, etc with my embroidery. And even I have NEVER seen my stitches coming out.

Wtf, Why would they do this. Im sure my machine locks the thread before it starts sewing.

Any ideas?

thanks!

Is it just 1 piece? If so, could be anything, snagged on something, someone pulled on it, anything. Take a look at it.

Wide satin stitches have a habit of getting snagged. Also, make sure you use underlay. It prevents the initial step from unraveling, which is where a lot of problems happen.

Make sure that you have added the necessary lock stitches in your embroidery software. Also - like somebody has mentioned before. If the satin stitches happen to be too wide they will start to fall out. You may want try using a fill stitch.
