Can you embroider a hat in a "normal" machine
I am getting ready to buy a Janome and the lady said that she could show me how to embroider a hat in this machine. It seemed odd to me, because it looks like a regular sewing machine (dont know what this type of machine is called). I have seen hats done in the commercial machines, but never a home machine.

Re: Can you embroider a hat in a "normal" machine For non structured caps, yes, it can be done. Even though there are at least 3rd party cap hoops available, it can also be done with a regular hoop.

Re: Can you embroider a hat in a "normal" machine 3D and puff embroidery has nothing to do with the hoop.
