Question Embrodery Design Calculations

Hello All I have a Question does anyone know of a calculator tha converts points too inches ...In my software for embroidery designs everythings in pts like

Dimensions 745.0 x 373.0 pts.
I really need these in inches so i can design and ajust them to sweatshirts and any garment can you please help me and thank you in advance this is a great community of help and info

There are 72 points to an inch.

That would make your design 10 X 5 inches, roughly.

See i have found that on the internet but there must be different points like my one design it was 1.61 x 2.405 inches but coverted in points it was 409 x 611 Im totally lost like some embroidery designs are huge but in pts making stitch count high

Which software program are you using? It should have a setting to change measurements to inches.

go to the support center for the software and post your question. Sierra software also has a user group on Yahoo, that is very helpful you can join that one and post your question.
