Default Vectors to Embird...... They Get resized?

Hey guys, heres the plan.

1-Design In Illustrator {On My Mac}
2- Cut said design out of Tackle Twill. {Again on the mac}
3- Import vector art into Embird for digitizing.
4- Sew the appliques and go watch the home run derby.

Problem is, I export my files out of Illy, as EMF or WMF.

When I load it into Embird, it is resized,

I did exactly as stated above, and the twill I cut was about an inch short..... Becasue f this resizing.

Anyone have any ideaS?

Thanks!

Make a square around the artwork you export in Illustrator. {Say 300mmx250mm}

Export it , a .EMF file will do.

Import it into Embird.

Yep its way smaller than it should be.

Select ALL the artwork. Use embirds scale function. You can type in exactly what size to scale it to. Use the 300mmX250mm. { Embird takes the outside dimension of a vector. So if your square is the outside, everything will be scaled perfectly. }

Finish that, now you can cut twill from .ai, and the machine has the right dimensions for the sewing.
