Question Deco Studio Help needed

Does anyone know how you force a tie off & tie in deco studio. Mine seems to be adding the connector threads between each object especially text characters which i dont want.

Alan:

I have the same problem and haven't discovered a solution. The only information I found was in the glossary under Tie-offs and Trims functions, both which gave definitions and possibilities but no detailed information as to how to perform these functions, if they actually are possible. A seemingly small detail with huge ramifications in output.
