Default Embroidery Switzerland

Hello Fellow Embroiderers
My name is Carin, I live and work in Switzerland.
A year ago I bought a Amaya XP and would like to know if somebody has the same problems as I do.
After doing 2 or 3 Tshirts, caps or whatever- the mascine turns into a real Dr. Jekyll and I get lots of threadbreaks, nesting, thread doesn't get cut properly.
The boys at Melco Switzerland tell me it must be a problem of my punching..... but why do the first ones turn out good and why can my old Brother maschine stitch it without problems ?
Does anybody have any ideas ?

Thanks,

Carin

I suggest try changeing the type(brand) of bobbin you are using. If the thread breaks persisit it could be a needle issue, but the nesting is most likely a bobbin issue. I like the amaya machine, but have nevr had good luck with melco service in the USA. ..... JB

I have an SWF, and it's taken me a long time to learn to look at my thread path first when this kind of stuff happens.

I've had my thread get hung up in places that are hard to see. Sometimes it will cause thread breaks, sometimes it will cause the thread to ravel, sometimes it will feel like the tension is too tight.

So...simple as it sounds, check the path from your thread spool to the needle, and make sure it's not getting hung up somewhere. It can be hard to see, so you may have to change the thread to a bright color while you examine it.

Hi!
Its very important to post your scan sew out,--here. Once we see the sew out, we can analyse what are the causes or factors that could produce bad output.
