Default Jeans!

I'm looking into buying jeans that i can design myself. But FIRST where do you get destructed jeans from? are they wholesale or special?
And once you purchase these, do you need a certain machine to embroider, or will I be able to ship them to somewhere to get my designs on them?

Im looking into doing designs that align themselves w/ companies like Artful dodger(if you know who im talking about).

Any Info would be helpful, im looking to expand from just shirts

I don't know where you can buy the jeans but I can tell you about embroidery on jeans. If you are wanting to offers lots of jeans in lots of different sizes with lots of different designs then you need to find a manufacturer that will make the jeans for you and can do the embroidery at that time. I do a lot of custom embroidered jeans on my single-head Barudan. My customers bring me their jeans, I take them apart, do the embroidery and put the jeans back together. It's time consuming and expensive to do it that way. Sometimes I can do the embroidery without taking the jeans apart by using my Fast Frames but that only works if the leg of the jeans is large enough for the frame.

So are there any special needed things for embroidered jeans, and im assuming that specialty jeans are expensive due to the extra work you put into them? I would love to hear some more about how you do some of your work, I have a machine that i can use, but I just dont wanna go and use it and mess things up.

Nothing special about the embroidery. I use all kinds of designs. I buys jeans to practice on at resale shops. If you can hoop it you can embroider it.
