Default Contractor for Tackle Twill Outline

Hello - I recently added a GX 24 and am starting to cut tackle twill. At this point though I have not purchased an embroidery machine.

Does anyone know of a contractor in the Northern California area that would embroider the edges of the tackle twill after I applied it? Any information would be appreciated.

Thank you

Doing tackle twill that way would require you to sew around the edges with a sewing machine not embroidery. You will need to give the person doing the garmet 2 seperate pieces because of registration problems. You sew a outline stitch then apply the twill without removing it from the hoop then finish sticthing after the twill is stuck down.Hope this helps.

You can find an embroiderer that will do this kind of work but you probabaly have to let them do the whole process start to finish. Did you already apply it?

Thanks for the information Curtis. I know nothing about emboidery or tackle twill so i really apprecaite this insight. Recently I did see at ISS that some folks were using embroidery machines to trace around the edges using a special computer disk ( i think from Stahls) but they must have been doing the whole process togther as you explained. Thanks again.

Thanks Fresh Mode. I didn't apply the tackle twill yet. I'll look around for contactors that do the whole process. I guess my overall goal is to keep the costs down so I thought it would help if I applied the TT myself. I'll look around for the full package. Thanks again.

Depending on your level of embroidery software you will be able to do it all yourself.I have a gx24 and Corel draw which I use for all of my cutting and Design Shop Pro Plus for my embroidery work between those to software packages it is only limited by myself.Best of luck just keep it up and it will all become clear as mud!LOL
