I bought a embroidery machine which came with PE design version 3 which is the full version but was wondering if its possible to update it to later versions.
I've looked on the brother website & tried finding info about it on google but its almost like this version is too old for anyone to do anything with it!

What difference is there between the newer & older versions?

I think it will do for what I want it for right now but was thinking that eventually I will want to upgrade really

any advice will be great!

The latest version is 7. You can look at a brochure on it's features here:

I have seen upgrades from versions 5 & 6 to version 7. Not sure about upgrading from 3 to 7. Usually when the versions are that far apart, you have to pay full price for the new version.

If the program is doing everything you need it to do, I would not go through the expense of upgrading.
