I have gone to dakota collectibles to find new monogram styles and font styles but haven't had much luck. Where else can I go to find decorative monograms and font styles?

Try Embroidery Library (emblibrary.com) or embroidery designs (embroiderydesigns.com) or Great Notions (greatnotions.com).

Most software these days will covert a true type font into stitches, the best software for every day use embroidery use is embird and it is very reasonably priced. It can convert windows font with an add on.
