Default Jacket Liner

I have a customer interested in a Jacket back with his company's logo. When you do jacket backs, do you remove the liner, embroider and then sew the liner back on, or just embroider through the liner too?

There are jackets that have either a removable liner or a spot that you can stick the sewing arm into between the liner and the back.

The description of the jacket will say that it has an opening for embroidery.

Ash City has tons of jackets that have the EZ sew embroidery system--where you can't see the embroidery on the inside, but someone said above you should remove the liner and then embroidery and resew the liner in...I wouldn't do that I think it would look very unprofessional to the customer if you had hand sew in the liner to hide the embroidery

That's funny- i never said to "hand-sew" anything- I sew/ reconstruct garments together all the time- with a serger and or sewing machine with extremely professional results

no worries ... i include that in an overall price - but i'm not a sole embroidery shop- i just like a very clean quality finished look-and if there is a blank jacket that has an opening for a hoop - by all means use that- but honestly to re-seam is not that big of a deal. but, in large volumes i see a ready-made embroidery jacket as a better option.
