Lightbulb Replacing the Tag with OURS

Ok, me and my brother bought a heat press, and some blank Tee's in Bulk

The shirts are printed, just one problem.

Leaving the tee's original tag looks cheap...it looks much more professional, if you have your OWN tag.

We plan to buy an embroidery/sewing machine next week, we will use this to put our design on the tag.

Questions:

1. What are the actual tags? Where do you buy them? Like can you just buy a bunch of blank tags in bulk, or do you have to buy fabric, and cut it yourself etc....

2. What do equipment can I use to remove the Original Tag, without any mess?

3. What equipment do I need to put OUR tag on the shirt?

Thanks

1. dont go making your own tags lol just get someone like Welcome - ITC Labels Custom printed labels, clothing labels, even garment labels to make your tags then get them sewn in

2. check your city for seamstress who can sew them in... we happen to have a old shirt factory here that went out of business a few years back, and have 3 ladies that remove the tags and sew in new tags for us... you would be surprised how many retired ladies they have sewing machines that will do it for you.

Making your own labels would take alot of time, that you could be using to create designs. ...... JB

You can get cheap woven labels from a company called lucky label based in Bangkok. I actually visited their factory last year and had them make some complex woven patches for me, good work and good prices.

It would be better for you to get someone to make them for you, even though you will get an embroidery machine. I had Rapidtags make some for me and they were inexpensive and fast. Ask for samples first to see if you're satisfied with them.

Thanks for the advice, how much should you pay the seamstresses?
