Default Combine embroidery and silkscreening?

I'm a newbie and have what is probably a newbie question. Is it ok to have both embroidery and silkscreening on a tee-shirt? I was thing of embroidery on the front and my small silkscreened logo on the collar back. Would it look odd? Better to be consistent and embroider both sides?

If you have the equipment, know-how and talent to do it....

Why not?

We offer DTG on the back and embroidery on the front left chest as an option.

No problem with that. It's very common nowadays to use different "shirt decorating" methods on a single shirt. You can even use screenprinting and embroidery on one location, a "multimedia" design is what they call it.

Mixed media works fine in theory. Just have to make sure the designs match, etc.

Since you're talking about just screenprinting a logo on the back, that shouldn't clash anyway.

The only thing I can think of to add to this is pricing. You have setup costs for each process so you have to decide what your minimum order is going to be prior to commiting to this adventure.

I agree the more you do , the more you need to make on each garment.
