can anyone help had to change the lower bobin on the machine and since then every time I start the needle breaks I have checked the manual but there is no reason I can see for it doing this ........ it was running fine before this ....... does any one have any ideas of what the problem could be .........

Can you hand roll your machine? On my SWF I can roll the machine forward and get an entire stroke out of my needle. If you can do this you can look for the "collision point". Also, what are you embroidering on? If you are starting on something like the thick stitching on the front of a hat the needle might be deflecting and it might just be a coincidence that it happened after changing the bobbin.
