Default What would you pay for this product?

I am considering putting together an offering for people looking to create their own t-shirt store/website.

I've create a template that resembles BustedTees - Funny T-Shirts - New T-Shirt designs every week - Crazy Tees Hilarious Cool Shirts in both features & functionality.

If I were to offer this site along with the following:
1-year domain registration
1-year website hosting
Website (you own it, not lease it or rent it. It's yours)
100 preprinted t shirts.

Let's say hypothetically you were in the market for a site like this, what would you pay? Is it a good offering? Is it worth $599, $699, $799? Be honest, you won't hurt my feelings.

Thanks,
Gary

So would it be more like cafe press, but with there own domain? 100 pre printed tees seems like alot. how many designs would that include? How much web traffic would be included if they chose to use you? security? Most people who would be into it wana spend little money, kinda test the waters. I guess i would need more info. is it going to be a community? Is there a page builder that is user friendly or just a template? Do they need to know html? But a website with 100 pre printed tees is worth $600 easy. I dunno about a template being worth $600.

Similar to a cafepress, but you would actually own the site, the customer, the data, etc. You have the ability the optimize the site as opposed to having cafepress managing the entire process.

Control and the ability to optimize the site is key. There are millions of sites out there in our space, but if you don't control the optimization aspect then it's completely useless. If you don't control the data it's completely useless.

Cafepress does a nice job driving people to their affiliates, but no particular affiliate. They don't care if the customer goes to you or another affiliate. The outcome is still the same, a sale for cafepress.

They do a wonderful job creating the "Amway effect". Your affiliates become your customers. That's exactly what they're doing.

Having your own site is key. Having the ability to gain in the rankings is key.

I used the word template, maybe that was a bad choice of words. I should have use the phrase a user-friendly, easily customizable, robust website.

Then again we're talking about a few hundred dollars.

As far as the designs I haven't given it much thought. I'm just kicking around the idea and looking for feedback.

Thanks,

Gary

I have spent a lot of time looking at website shopping carts that i can use for my stuff when i am ready.
To sell T Shirts Caps and bags,

First off i would not want 100 shirts as i would want to make all my own.
Second i would never trust my site to be hosted on any host that i did not pick and that i can not have 100% control of. If your host is down then that would be a big problem for everyone. If it runs to slow that would be another problem.
If it gets hacks are you going to fix it with in a few hours?
Good Hosting cost very little now days i run almost 60 website now. I can host over 100 sites for less then $40 a month.

As for price after looking around a lot i found a wordpress template shopping cart that i can place all my shirt photos into and have pop up extra images for each shirt design as many as i want.
Full check out support for many payments types.
SEO is very easy to work with.
I can use lots of other WP plug ins for many things.
Very good back end admin area to run and set up everything.
It includes pre-made color and template designs to get you started.
You can run it on your own site and host and run many versions of it on many sites you own.
Product rating system
Built in e-mail system and contact form.
Admin order tracking
Sale items, Discounts and a lot more.
Free upgrades for a year.
All for $49

So i would have to say yours is worth no more then $49 with out the 100 shirts i would not want.
I like the lay out but it lack features the one i have includes but yours is set up for shirts right away.

I am going to be running many sites so if you go with a $49 price i will give it try and on a few of my sites.

I only have a sample site up right now as i do not have all my designs done yet buy here is the website link to the WB cart i found it here in another post from another user.

ShopperPress - Wordpress Shopping Cart Plugin
The guy makes new versions of the theme just about every week i will ask him if he can make a full T Shirt version to make it easy to start right away but the way it works you can customize it to look any way you want and how it works it will work great for shirts right out of the box or DL LOL..

If you look under themes it has a new one for this week and 3 more on the way. You can use any of them or make your own.

Does this shopping cart plug in have options for sizes, colors, etc so it can easily be adapted to apparel?

That question can't really be answered and really isn't something you should put yourself in the position to ask. It's about you and your business and what it's organized to do. What type of market you're targeting, how it's organized to draw in a market, the type of technology you have available, the class and quality of product, etc. all make a difference. You could charge $26,000 a year if you wanted, what are you doing and what is included that makes it that valuable? If you get something organized to function a certain way involving different things that make it that valuable for them to do, CHARGE IT!!! Bottom line, it's about what you want to do and what it will cost you to do it plus what you plan to do with it that makes it worth it, which equals your answer.

Yes or i would not of got it.
You can set up a few options for each item like
Sizes as many as you want , and Colors.

See this demo page of it it show you can up to 3 custom fields for each item you sell.
http://shopperpress.net/?p=58
so you can have sizes, Colors, and a shipping way or something else.
