Okay so I just opened a store online but I'm interested in my site being a blog linked to my store. I don't want anything like example.blogspot.com...I want something like johnny cupcakes blog...super simple and clean and has nothing to say about wordpress or anything.
Try Bigcartel, they have a blog, i dont think anyone else would do tha type of thing as they need thier name in front of yours to make them even more popular.
i'm using big cartel...i'm going to use wordpress i think and have like that as the main thing on my site then have the customer navigate to my shop. makes sense!

goodLuck.
They don't really have a blog. There is code where you can load an rss feed into an html page. You can do it on any html page.
I have some examples on my site below of this method.
For the Johnny cupcakes site they probably used word press. I think the web guy did the code for it so maybe he has his own custom code.

Which shopping cart are you using?
You can host your own wordpress site, their name does not have to appear anywhere. They also have a shopping cart add-on so your blog can also be your cart instead of your cart linking to a blog.
