Default Suggestions for apperal shopping cart system

Hello All!

I used to be very active in here a little over a year ago when I was managing part of an apparel company. I've since finished college and working in my field (electronics tech). But I still have my great shirt ideas and I've tested them on my friends and really want to make something out of them. I think I'll have my old employer be my fulfillment service for now until volume picks up.

My question is with the online stores. I know lots about computers but don't have the time to engineer my own system. I searched the message board but didn't find exactly what I was looking for and that is the following:

-Simple & quick setup
-Allows it to be integrated into my own custom layout & site
-Easily allows for 1 shirt but with different sizes/colors
-Takes care of all the payment and shipping stuff - just need to box it and put a label on it.

I know it's a tall order but I'm not finding a good total package. I've been looking at GoDaddy's services but with apparel it looks like a bad fit because I think I would have to create a new item for every size/color.

UPDATE: What about candypress? That looks like it could work out well..... any users?

Thoughts?

Thanks!
Bryan

PS. My shirts are totally inappropriate and adult oriented so something like cafepress is not an option.

I just posted about the Joomla & VirtueMart combination. Joomla is a free web based system that has modules and components like the shopping cart system called VirtueMart that offer everything you will ever need. Also recently a developer came out with a t-shirt designer add that plugs into the VirtueMart store to allow both ready to buy shirts, or custom designed ones all on the same site. UPS and USPS built in, PayPal and multiple credit card processors as well and the newest version even includes currency exchanges if you sell overseas.

Both are free (not the online designer) and templates abound and can be changed in seconds without altering anything on your site. In fact you can even use multiple temlates on the same site. If you have Dreamweaver you can even make your own templates if your so inclinded. There really is nothing else like it on the intenet for free. All of my sites are built on this system and if you know how to code you can make very powerful system with it.

I'm using CubeCart v3. I tested out a few different carts before CubeCart, but ended up sticking with CC because it is FREE and because of how easy it was to integrate into my website and completely customize to make it my own. Literally everything can changed and tweaked, and there are tons of free mods available for it. It takes a little more time and tinkering if you want to add the mods and customization, but it will be worth it in the end, and it won't look like every other apparel website out there. I had NEVER used CSS before I installed CubeCart, but just by tinkering with everything, I learned it in no time at all.

Oh, and it does everything you need it to do (with a little setup, obviously), like managing shipping, orders, payment, shopping carts, any options you could possibly want for your shirts (size and color), etc.

Check out my website (in my signature) to see what I mean. You can't even tell its CubeCart!
