Default webhost needed when working with a fulfillment service???

Sorry for a potential stupid question but,
if you already own a domain name, do you need a webhost in order to forward it to a fulfillment store or can you just use the domain name and forward it to the specific fulfillment store??. Thanks ahead for the feedback.

You don't need a webhost. Just direct the company where you got your domain name from (godaddy, etc.) to point your address to your fulfillment link.

Not with our service you just wild card map your CNAME or Map your A name to our IP. Ask your support person from your fulfillment center for help.

Depends who your registrar is, but most would allow you to do that at no charge I think (certainly the big ones).

The way you set it up also depends on your business goals and the fulfillment company you work with.

Some people just forward their domain name to the store the fulfillment company sets up for them.

Some people want to be a bit more autonomous, so they will setup a separate site with their own custom design. The customer will do most of the shopping on your domain name and then when they are ready to check out, they will be transferred to the fulfillment company.
