I've really enjoyed learning a little about style sheets, and have made a lot of changes on my own, but I'm stumped on this one. As you can see in my top header, the search box is too high. I've tried everything I can image in the style sheets to move it down, but haven't been successful. Can somebody tell me how?

Reason: delinked URL
And while we're at it, can somebody tell me how to get rid the "Powered By CubeCart" in the browser title? I understand the style sheets and .tpl files a little, but don't have much clue how the .php files work.
Or is this one of the things that I have to buy the license to get rid of?

You guessed right... buy the license and you will get rid of that pesky little reminder!
Yeah the red in the top header is fine because the font is thicker. Did you change the red to a darker red or is it just because I am using a different monitor? All of the red looks fine on my mac.

I changed the smaller text to a darker red, kind of a cardinal red. I think it's a little less irritating than the brighter red that it was.
You've managed to get rid of the right hand column, so you know a bit about playing around with CC. With a bit more playing you can get the login and search over on the left, as well.
Not suggesting it needs it, just letting you know it is possible.

I actually bought a mod for $5 to do it. But once I got it, I realized how easy it was. I went from thinking I got a great deal at $5 to thinking I overpaid .

It was originally on the right, and I centered it. So yeah, I'm slowly figuring out how to personalize things.
I install CubeCart for clients almost daily. I don't do design work, mostly just the barebones installs. Some are deathly afraid of doing anything on their own, and the modders are a good solution.
But many don't need them for most of the basic stuff. You are the kind of client I like to do business with, someone who will take it a step at a time on their own, until they are comfortable with the cart.
I always stress to get the cart loaded with goods and up and selling, then start playing with the sytle and design.
