After signing up with Lunarpages, they give a lot of the CoffeeCup software for free. Is any of it worth getting into? I don't really have time to try them all out myself, so just wondering if anybody recommends any of it. Or is there any that I should not bother with. I don't really even know what all it will do.
CoffeeCup FTP is no good. it was actually modifing my files as they were transfered. at first i thought i was going crazy, and then i thought i was doing something wrong, but after running some tests i found that it really was modifing my data (i used it for uploading webpages). i talk to the coffeecup tech support and they actaully said something like "hey its free what do you expect".....well i told him what he can expect from me, and now i am doing just that by posting this!

You need to make sure that the images are uploaded in Binary mode. If they are not, they will get messed up.
Coffeecup has soso products i use their flash menu builders and i have their flash photo album..however, they have a pattern of making products and calling it a day they don't improve their existing apps. I found another flash photo gallery too for the same price that made their product look like crap. There customer support is very fast...but it could be allot better. I know allot about the stuff because i have my own web design business and sometimes i like to use different apps to cut down my time. Theyre' supposedly developing an E commerce app but i'm definately not touching that lol
I use CoffeCup FTP because, well, I couldn't find a good free version of WS_FTP anymore. WS_FTP rocked. CoffeeCup will add blank spaces into my codes and crap, and it #$#$ my websites up. Binary or not, this comes from a 7 year web design veteran too cheap to buy WS_FTP.
Has anyone tried CoffeCup's free live chat software? I was thinking about using it, but their website didn't show what the client side of things looked like.
