Default Is this legal - using a brand's name in my domain name?

Hi

I was wandering is this legal. For example, can I name my store junkfoodtees.com and sell junk food brand tees on it. Am i breaking any copyright and/or trademark laws if I do something like this?

thanks

Are you officially licensed to sell junk food brand t-shirts? If not, you couldn't sell them on your site legally.

You'd have to do a trademark search to see if they already have a trademark for their junk food brand t-shirts. If so, you could be violating their trademark with your domain name.

Also even if you licensed to sell Junk Food tees, Junk Food may require you to obtain permission to use their name in writing and to get their approval.

You are using their name and thus causing some confusion amongst consumers.
