Basic CubeCart set-up along with making CubeCart look like our current site, or at least make the transition almost similar.

I think I may have found one already that was recommended by a member of the Forum, we currently putting together our requirements and will be contacting the developer shortly.

Just a heads up. For what you're describing, you don't really need a "cubecart developer". You just need someone who can customize cubecart. That could be one of the many cubecart designers out there that can be found in the cubecart.com forums or the cubecartforums.org site.

While we are on this subject. What can and can't a developer do? I would like for my site to be able to have someone buy one at regular price and get the second item of equal or lesser value half off. But I don't want it set to where if you buy one and then 2 more, that both would be half off. I want it to be so it can pick the lesser and that it does it on every 2 items.

Now is there a cart that will do this?

You would just look through the various shopping carts to see if they had a discount feature like this.

There are many third party "plugins" to the shopping carts that are out there that will add features to the shopping cart. You just have to purchase and install the plugin to get the new functionality.

I know cubecart has a plugin that can do this. I'm sure other shopping carts do too.

There are dozens (if not hundreds) of shopping carts out there. It's hard to say which one is used most.

People usually just research a few of them and see which one fits their needs or go off a recommendation.

Cubecart is a site template as well as shopping cart?

And it seems that they are in the UK. Is this right?
