I've been meaning to get a start on screen printing for a while, but I have serious budget problems. I have been planning on using Paypal basic merchant services for my shopping cart, as well as setting up a company checking account at my local bank. I have absolutely no idea who to use to host my website; I have used Unlimited Webhosting - Prolink Hosting Home 's advanced plan for a while and was immensely satisfied until some jerk decided to hack my site since prolinkhosting is somewhat insecure. I am about to purchase the Econo Package from silkscreningsupplies.com
( Econo 4 Color Press & Package ).


My dilemma is that I want a secure yet CHEAP web hosting plan, or at least I need a good way to improve to security of my prolinkhosting site. I need to know if Paypal merchant services is a good solution. Also, I would like to know if my silk screening press is a good choice. Lastly, I need to know if it is a good move to register as a legal business this early on.

SO......

- cheap/reliable web hosting
OR
- making current site hacker-safe.

- deciding between paypal basic merchant services or other shopping cart software
- Econo 4 Color Press & Package (<- good deal?)
- register as a legal business? (pros / cons)
-other equipment options?

Have you searched through the hosting threads. There are lots of good hosts recommended there.

You may want to split your question up into two separate posts.

One post in the screen printing section of the forum about your equipment question so that fellow screen printers can offer advice.

One post in this ecommerce site design section of the forum about your hosting questions so that members knowledgable in that area can share their advice.

Also searching both sections for the related terms (silkscreeningsupplies, supplies, hosting) should bring you up some advice, tips and recommendations that have already been posted.

i am pretty new to screen printing shirts so i can't help you in that area but i suggest you check out Cirtexhostingheir hosting is pretty good and affordable and their customer service is better than many of the other places as well
