Default Which checkout platform does this site use?

Does anyone know what checkout system was used for this site/layout
www noisebot com
- notice that the user has a choice on what item(t-shirt, hoodie, etc) to purchase with the design on it.
- no prices or "add to cart" icon on items on home page
-colour of items change automaticaly when you rollover the colour swatches

any help would be much apreciated,

Thanks,

From the source code, it looks like a Yahoo cart.

But the features you like can be obtained from virtually any shopping cart. The color change rollover effect is simple javascript programing . Your homepage can just contain images, no text or buttons. And having more than one item on your product page is also relatively easy to do.

Thanks,
There are some older posts in the forums that can be found in the search that talk about Yahoo cart and Yahoo merchant solutions.

From what I've ready, it's a little more pricey than some other ecommerce solutions, but it works well.

You can do the same type shopping cart layout with just about any shopping cart software that's out there (cubecart, magento, zen cart, etc). It just takes someone with the know how to customize the template to look the way you want it to.

Share your though process. Why magento versus the others? What do you like about it that would make you choose it?

I've heard the learning curve is pretty steep.
