Default Recommendations for Sublimation Printer

I have an Epson C120 printer for sublimation and now I am planning to upgrade to a printer that will do larger print transfers. I am looking for "good" recommendations from users and what have you found to be dependable, consistent quality printer.

Additionally, I am looking for a resource for finding 65/35 poly/cotton tees at a reasonable price (but quality tees). Thanks...

I started using the Epson 1400 a while back, fantastic printer until I got a blocked head. I've now ditched Epson and bulk systems in favour of the new Ricoh 5050 and thus far havn't looked back, what a great bit of kit. Print speed is incredible. Prints not quite as sharp as the 1400 but so much easier.

If you need A3 the 7000 would be your best bet.

Justin :-)

The GX7000 provides a bigger print size, as does the Epson 4880. The 7000 is much, much faster. I've seen near "National Geographic" quality prints coming out of a 4880, but it costs a lot more that the 7000.

The 1400, with a bulk system is ok, but you need more attention and TLC, in running it.

I'm running a Ricoh 7000 and very happy with the quality. I'm primarily a photographer, so color and resolution is very important to me. My results have been outstanding.

The Ricoh 7000 and the Epson 1400 will allow you to print up to 13 x 19 paper. The Epson 4880 allows you to print up to 17 x 22 sheet paper. You can also use the 17" roll paper on the 4880.
