Default dye sub ink

Can anybody tell me about this ink, it seems to cheap to be true. It says ins for the epson 4800/7800/9800, but what would make it different that it wouldn't be ink for a epson stylus 1280?

Dye sublimation inks US$25/litre

Thank You

The Epson 1280 is a six color printer and all the rest are eight color printers. You would have two extra colors and the colors would not render properly.

What do you mean when you say it won't render properly, because I emailed the ink guy about using the ink in an epson 1280 and he said it would work.

Thank You for the help

Some people will say anything to make a sale. It only makes sense that if you don't have the right combination of colors in the printer, the colors won't be right.

Okay, what are the eight colors that the other printers use, because this is CMYKLcLm. Would it make sense that it wouldn't render correctly with the eight color printers, because there are 6 inks provide.
