Default Cleaning Mug clamps

Hi all,
Just wanted to know if anyone had any hints as to what they would use to clean the resadue ink off the mug clamps? For my bulk work I use a mug machine but over time they have picked up some passing off from the designs I print. In the past, I have just used nail polish removir applied with cotton wool and then just run a heating cycle but I wondered if anyone else had a better solution.
All help very much appreciated.
Thanks
Mark

To avoid the problem in the future use a teflon sheet to wrap your mug and transfer. Then all you need to do is wipe the teflon sheet clean.

I've been warned that a teflon shet can hold in the moisture, and that isn't good. Just use plain white paper, to wrap everything.

I have used Teflon sheet on over 1000 mugs and never had a problem as long as you make sure the printed design is dry like it is suppose to be.

I'll give it a shot and see how it works out.

Just use a hair dryer for a few secs about 12 inches away to dry your prints, thats if your in a hurry and have a few to do.
