Need to Register?

Just getting into the sub dye game and just purched an Epson 1400... does the ink that comes with the printer ready for Sub printing or do i have to take that out and install new ink?

The standard inks in the 1400 are Claria water resistant dye inks. They are not sublimation inks. You will need to get a sublimation kit for the printer...and DO NOT install the Claria Inks. It is my understanding that if the Claria Inks are installed you can no longer use that printer for sublimation....it has to be a fresh out of the box UNUSED printer....at least thats what I've read so far.
