Default Sublimate onto already sublimated shirt?

Hello there - I will be getting the GX7000. With the 13 x 19" optional tray. I want to sublimate on the front of the shirt, and sort of "tile" (2) 13x19" areas, with some overlap. In fact, I will probably use 3 13x19 sheets on the front of the shirt to get the look I am going for.

My question lies in overlapping areas - is this possible? If I sublimate on top of an already sublimated area (the overlap will probably be pure black on both sheets) will that mess up the other sublimated area?

In a broader sense, since sublimation turns the dye into a gas, leaving the paper and shooting into the fabric, will reheating it make it leave again?

Thanks!

In short yes the dye will leave the fabric again and migrate if the fabric is doubled up or the sheet is over previously printed areas, or just hot enough. I constantly have this problem with soccer and volleyball jerseys. But if you are putting down more ink in the overlap besides over satration which will cause it's own problems, I would actually think it would become darker.

I have experimented with this myself in the past. It can be done, but the results are inconsistent and not reliable enough for any commercial application.
