Default How do I get a tshirt to be a gradient of two colours?

I recently wanted to start printing on tshirts that have a two colour gradient, (so yellow fading into orange) and then do a print over these colours in black halftone.

what method do I use to get a white tshirt to the the gradient of two colours? clothing dye?

please let me know!

I'm guessing that is a cotton shirt you are showing in the picture. It's likely a dye dipped shirt (similar to tie dye). This is a very popular style shirt right now.

You would have to find a dye that will work with polyester - however - in order to make this colorfast, you'll need extreme heat to set the dye. This could be a challenging project - I'd be interested if you find a way to make this work.
