Default Tired of cleaning my print nozzles

I am about to get out of sublimation for 1 reason. I ALWAYS have to perform a nozzle cleaning. Especially for magenta.
Every single time I use my printer I MUST do it and it's wasting ink. Even if I dont' use my printer for 1 hour the magenta stops working properly.
I have a epson 1400...is there anything I can do?

Ken

Control the temperature humidity in the room at all times of the day. If you keep the relative humidity at 50% and it 70 degrees, you should have better luck. See the direct-to-garment boards where you will see people talking about this all the time. This will require you to buy a hygrometer and possibly a humidifer. Here is a link to a post I did explaining why this matters - Monitor the Humidity Level for dtg Printers with Hygrometer | DAGuide.

Hope this helps.

Hi Ken,

If your Magenta is not maintaining it's prime, then there may be something wrong with that cartridge. One nice thing about that bulk system on the 1400 is that each component can be replaced individually. Your reseller should be able to facilitate it's replacement.
