I posted this before as a reply but would like to start a new thread to get help.
I am an artist and have been using the A3 Epson 1400 for almost a year now with a CIS system and have made some beautiful printouts using my printer, at first the prints came out amazing, but once I changed my ink refill supplier the colors seemed to fade and poblems with lines and head cleaning issues, I think this was due to the quality of the inks...does anybody know where I can get high quality dye based ink refill for my ciss? I've been looking and don't know which supplier to trust anymore.
Also my 1400 printer now keeps showing paper jam problem and does'nt print, there's nothing wrong with the paper feeder so I'm guessing the ink sponge ect needs changing or I need to reset the printer, does anybody know how to do this as I really need to get the print up n running?.
ThankYou so much in advance if someone can offer me any help. | | | | | |
hi there
if you have printed a lot don't expect too much in the future from it.I already broke down 2 pieces of 1400
and now I have also 2 but one of them(purchased about 1 months ago) is already not feeling well.
the paper feed problem can be a sensor which can be changed -my printer done the same we thinked something fell in it but no,during the de/assamblation we may touched or reset a sensor don't know which, but really done nothing and now is working.
anyway they have limited lifetime.paperjam is have nothing in common with sponge.it may have be related to the door in which u put cd's to print
we use mimaki inks which are great
good luck,
