Default Newbie would like some help

Just got my Mug press the other day, the first thing that went wrong is it didn't have any directions so I called sunie and the guy told me how to set the timer and temp. Today I thought I'll bite the bullit and see what I could do. The first thing I did was set the temp for 380 and timer for 2 minutes. well when the temp hit 380 I put the mug in and then hit the timer while waiting I notice the temp went down quite a bit and then stared to build up but didnt get back to 380 before the timer when off. Got the mug out and peeled the paper off and in the water it went when it came out everything looked good but there was a dark line above the image. I thought maybe not enought pressure and time so I tighten it up a bit and set the timer to 3minutes, when it was dont the images looked alittle more oval than round like it should be but the line was gone. Can anyone give some advice?

I have found to do ceramic mugs my temp must be 400 degrees for 4 min 30 secs. The drop in temperature occurs, but the extra time compensates for that. The dark line may have been caused by an errant template line? A few times I think I have trimmed it away, but have left a portion and end up ruining a mug in the process. Our kitchen has plenty of spare mugs!

For aluminum travel mugs my temp stays the same at 400 degrees, but I reduce the time to 2 minutes 30 seconds. Everything seems to work fine with these settings.

Good luck!

Thank you I have tried 380° @3 minutes and 4 minutes @ 400° don't really see any difference. The line has gone, Right now I think the problems I have is with my icc profiles.....looks like I'm going to have to switch inks maybe to artinium. Do you know or if anyone knows does Vista cause any problems?

Yes for some strange reason my coffee mugs have multiplied also.

Did you figure out your problem??

By the way...from "where-ever" you purchased your inks they should have an ICC profile for your comp/printer that goes with them.....
