Question Can someone help me with Rotech inks?

Hi,

I've just brought the CISS with Rotech Inks. A customer of mine has asked what the attributes are with ROTECHs inks. The only info I can find is how they are reliable and produce accurate colours with the ICC Profile.

Does anyone know about other benefits, 'how they stand up to UV/outdoor elements' - resistance to fading etc...

Any info on these inks would be appreciated

Thanks

All I know about Rotech is that they used to sell in the US...but the Sawgrass suit forced them out of US back to Europe and that in 2005 they were acquired by Sawgrass. As far as I know Rotech is only sublimation, but I am not sure of that. I did use Rotech in 2002 and got good results, but they are like other dye sub...they will fade in UV they are not for outdoors...will fade in a few months..there are some coatings that say they will extend life...so far I have not found anything better than the clearcoat used in car paint finishes but again that is only a temporary fix...and not lasting.
