Default 1/4" or 1/8" mouse pads

Are the 1/8" rubber back mouse pads high quality enough to sell or should I stick with the 1/4" for retail? My husband thinks people prefer a slim style but I don't want them to feel like a giveaway item. I can't get samples for less than a $35 purchase so any thoughts on this will be appreciated.

Default Re: 1/4" or 1/8" mouse pads

I prefer 1/8" myself. 1/4" just reminds me too much of days of old. As for wear and tear, I've had 1/8" mousepads that are approaching 6 years old and still usable. The top image has turned a lot darker through the years from dirt, but I don't ever clean em or anything.
