Default Tackle Twill

Hello, has anyone done sublimation or heat transfer to tackle twill? If so, which process did you use and how did it come out? I ask because I have nylon jackets I need to add a design to the back of and can't heat transfer directly to the nylon. I had a suggestion to do a transfer or sublimation to tackle twill and then applique the twill to the jackets. I am new to the printing side of things (this spring) so was not sure which process to use or how it would hold up. And if anyone knows a supplier of tackle twill that would be helpful as well.
Thanks so much!
Natalie

Stahls and TwillUSA are some suppliers of twill.

You can also consider silkscreen and direct embroidery as other options.

Thanks, I have considered them, but this seems like it would be the best option based on the size and design of the image. I will check out the two companies you recommended.

You can heat transfer directly to nylon if the adhesive is compatible.

There are brands of cadcut that will work and also cadprint that can be printed on a solvent printer that will work. You can also order in transfers that will work with nylon.

I have also heat pressed to twill. I have done so with cadprint material as well as cadcut as well as certain transfer papers.

A hidden secret is twill is made from polyester. So sublimation will work and look great. Definitely call Twill USA as they are great people.
