Sorry to sound like a nay sayer... Seems to me like just another well marketed cinese ink! The post states that they are using Bayer supplied colorants! Not that the ink is made by Bayer. All the inks on the market are made with colorants supplied by a major chemical conglomerate as there are only a few companies supplying the raw materials...what's important I believe is how these colorants are processed...
I know it's stating the obvious, but the ancient Chinese societies were using inks for hundreds of years before they were available in the west.
I'n not an expert on ink, but I am presuming that sublimation ink consists of a carrier fluid and the colourants are added to the carrier. I have a friend that prints up very large corporate material and they have used Chinese ink for about eight years now, without any problems.
Trouble is we all live in a global trading environment now and even mainstream western producers have manufacturing facilities in the far east.
Bayer signed a license with SAWGRASS to get right to sell in USA. For the law no matter that the owner of a license is small and who infrangte is gigant. So it's forbidden to use in printer less that 44" Bayer ink like:
J-Teck- Manoukian- Sensient(Ex- ECS)- CIBA - Inteck - KIWA
as SAWGRASS absorbed Rotech - Tropical Graphic and bought the branch for subli ink from Sublibrite You front a problem because You get for under 44" only SAWGRASS or You can lookk how much cost EPSON or Nu-Kote inks or pass to direct printing
