I have an Epson 1280 that uses a bulk ink system. I found some bottles
of sublimation ink. If I got the bottles, could I just pour the ink
into the bottles of the bulk ink system and begin printing with the
sublimation ink, or is there something else I have to have before I
can start using the ink?

You have to have the right blanks. Those Hanes shirts that are 65 poly/35 cotton.

Printer wise, am I all set? I know on the Alps MD-5000 printers, you need to have a dye sublimation key installed. Does the Epson have anything like that, or do I just need a way to get the ink into the printer? All the bulk dye sub ink systems I seen had the bags of ink with the quick connector thing. Is that different than the bottles and hoses systems like I have?

You will need some sublimation transfer paper.

You will need to replace the cartridges and tubes on your printer. You cannot simply pour dye sub ink into your bottles and start printing. Your previous inks are still in the lines and carts. By adding sub ink to the bottles, the inks would be mixed.
